RENEWABLE RESOURCES

“This I recall to mind, therefore I have hope. The Lord’s lovingkindnesses
indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore
I have hope in Him.’ The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him” (Lamentations 3:21-25).

God’s love, faithfulness and goodness are the most renewable resources around!  Do you need peace?  It’s immediately available.  Are you short on joy or hope?  Just ask; a fresh supply is yours.  Protection?  Provision?  Name it, God has it for you.  His gifts are not stale old things that have been in storage for years; they’re new every morning, just like the manna He supplied to His people when they walked through the wilderness to the Promised Land.
Even greater and deeper, do you want to know Him better and feel His presence more intimately?  He is as close as your heart and breath.  If you ask Him and pay attention, you’ll notice Him:  Some thought or impression might come to mind; perhaps you will feel heat on your face or body; a picture might pop into your head…He loves to talk to us, show us things and touch us.
Because HE is so consistently good and loving, we have hope – confident expectancy.

About lifehelps

I am like a rich tapestry, full of texture and color. I'm a musician, composer, poet, gardener, homemaker and friend. I worked as anLCSW for 22 years; as a socialworker for 26 years all told. Before that, I was a rehabilitation teacher. My passion is to come alongside others; to empower and bless them. That is why you will find plenty of variety in my blog. Two very important things to know about me is that I am a life-long learner - An explorer and sojourner. I also belong to the Lord Jesus...now, before you get tweeked out: I am not saying I am "religious." There is a huge difference between all of the rules and empty practice that often gets associated with Christianity and the kind of life that comes from being in a relationship with the loving God. May you find encouragement, inspiration, insight, good ideas and a laugh or two as you read my posts and comments.
